AZ-Oiltrans is one of the world’s leading publicly traded crude and product tanker owners and operators, providing seaborne transportation of crude oil, refined petroleum, and other products across international shipping markets. AZ-Oiltrans owns and maintains a fleet of 14 vessels, divided into two categories: crude tankers (3 Suezmax vessels and 1 Aframax vessel) and product tankers (10 medium-range (MR) vessels). AZ-Oiltrans controls a third of the local crude oil transportation market and provides services to other major domestic oil companies. We transport crude oil based on long-term contracts, ensuring safety as we handle this vital national resource.

We have strong partnerships with international oil majors, Asian oil giants, and trading firms, including key Japanese and Chinese companies. We are dedicated to expanding our customer base and increasing the volume of freight we transport. The majority of AZ-Oiltrans’s fleet, including crude oil carriers ranging from Suezmax to supertankers, is managed in-house. Additionally, we collaborate with established ship management organizations to manage part of our fleet, complementing our internal capabilities.

AZ-Oiltrans operates a fleet that ships to ports worldwide, catering to charterers with the most stringent specifications. Regular onboard visits, comprehensive briefings and debriefings upon joining or disembarking, modern communication methods, and shore-based conferences ensure that our vessels and crew remain in constant contact with shore staff. We also provide onboard or in-house training programs to maintain high operational standards.

Vessel and crew performance is evaluated by superintendents, internal and external auditors, customers, and national and international regulatory agencies. AZ-Oiltrans has developed strong relationships with all major oil companies, reinforcing our position as a trusted partner in the global oil transportation industry.

AZ-Oiltrans has successfully passed several significant oil industry vetting exams, ensuring that both the company and its vessels meet the highest standards. All services are provided with the utmost regard for health, safety, security, environmental protection, and quality within the maritime transportation industry. AZ-Oiltrans is committed to continuously improving the safety, security, and quality of fleet operations while also prioritizing environmental sustainability.

After each delivery, the tanks on our vessels are thoroughly cleaned to ensure they are ready for use at the next loading point. The high pumping capacity (300–600 m³/hour) and efficient tank design enable quick loading and unloading of freight. Our crews operate on a one-week on, one-week off schedule, ensuring that AZ-Oiltrans is available around the clock, 365 days a year. Additionally, all of our vessels are equipped with the latest navigation, communication, and computer systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations at all times.

AZ-Oiltrans vessels are custom-built to meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Our engineers design and install the hulls, tanks, engine rooms, controls, loading and unloading machinery, cargo heating systems, tank washing systems, and all other necessary amenities. Every component is specifically tailored for the transportation of oils, fats, and their derivatives.

We prioritize using high-quality materials, with steel and stainless steel being the preferred choices for tank and equipment construction. This ensures better hygiene standards, more efficient cleaning processes, and improved product quality. Additionally, our vessels are equipped with hot water heaters in the tanks, further enhancing our ability to maintain the integrity of the transported products.
